The Yao 80' (Hachi-Zero) Film Festival was established in 2016 as an in-house event to celebrate the world's shortest film festival of 80 seconds, with the aim of discovering and communicating the charm of the ordinary Yao area through the universally loved culture of film. Held as an in-house event. Ten years have passed since the first event, and its aim is to enliven local regions and convey their attractions through films, as well as to convey the fun of filmmaking and support all those who wish to make films by making it easier for people from all walks of life to produce and participate in the festival with a short screening time of 80 seconds. More than 700 films were submitted to the festival, from all parts of the country and by people of all ages and genders.
